Fantastic place and a friendly, personnel atmosphere. The best place to relax and enjoy the fantastic landscape just outside your front door. You can fish in the nearby lake or do some running along the canals.
Experience the Gallery inside the breakfast- and dining room with artist from Northern Germany. Here you also find works of the famous artist Emil Nolde. Visit the Emil Nolde museum located close to Bongsiel..
Enjoy a nice meal in the restaurant, cosy atmosphere and speciality is eel and other fish dishes.
Family owned for more than 100 years and now with Bjorn Thamsen in charge and he is a fantastic host.
Me and my family have visited Bongsel (Dat swarte Peerd) several times during the years and always had a great time in this lovely place.
Just try it and you will not regret. Best value for less money.
