I really liked the location on Amazonas Avenue and next to all the restaurants and shops in Mariscal. Also close enough to the airport. The hotel did not provide breakfast but right next door at the Canoa, the best pastries in the world fresh every morning with coffee and juice and very reasonalble. The hotel was quiet on the 7th floor, staff helpful, internet access near the lobby, clean and reasonably priced. Also stayed at the Raddison for a few nights which was about the same price, much newer and nicer, but you had to take a cab to get to everything. My expectations were met, good value for the money. Ecuador is reasonably priced overall.
