Parking is nearby, and always free in the week we stayed (free as in available, at no cost), and the city centre is very nearby.
The manager was always very helpful, and had lots of good local suggestions (from archeological visits to the pre-Roman underground waterworks to top quality restaurants).
The apartments are in several old houses around a courtyard, all freshly renovated from an almost ruined state (you can see one or two such ruins left to be redone): this means it's very quiet, and traffic free. The rooms are large and airy, simply decorated, with a four hob gas fire, and a large fridge+freezer.
Hint: don't put that kilogram of excellent ice cream you bought (ask where!) into the freezer (it will get too solid) --- eat it immediately instead.
