03.02.2011 We stayed at DAR NAJAT from the 19th to the 23rd of January. It was four of us (2 couples). We really loved our stay at dar najat. Right from the very beginning (from the point of reservations) to the refreshing points of mint tea served and all the arrangements Olivier the owner made, were all very much appreciated.
On our arrival we were greeted by a driver that Olivier had organized, The Riad is located in the Medina and you can walk everywhere in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes, so the location is fantastic, and you will realize this once you get your bearings. We had our breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine which was really awesome. Olivier gave us maps for the sites, which made it very easy to navigate your way through the narrow streets in the medina. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated and the beds were cosy and comfortable .We would definitely recommend this Riad for Marrakech, it’s an oasis in the middle of all the ‘good chaos’ in the medina!

20.01.2011 *Coolest Riad in Marrakech*
Riad Dar Najat is a small, romantic riad...literally a 5 minute walk from the Jemaa el Fna square. The architecture, artwork and accents are truly beautiful, dark African. Lots of plants and character. Beautiful mosaics and pillars too. Very cool.

The staff were great and spoke several languages well. All were very friendly, funny and most importantly: Helpful. There were guests from all over the world! The owner Olivier was also a great guy and really went out of his way to look after us. He also organized a great trip to Essaouira at a great price!

The food here was also dynamite; breakfasts and dinners. Really good coffee, tea and OJ...anytime! Wonderful tagine and kefta for dinner. Mmm...
Great music and laid back, groovy and exotic atmosphere the whole time. There's good sun lounging on the upper terrace too. We spent New Years Eve here and it was a really good party too!

I definitely hope to return. Thanks for everything!

19.11.2010 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dar Najat The owner Olivier and his staff, made us feel extremely welcome and the Riad quickly became our home.

We had evening meal three nights, which we again, thoroughly enjoyed.
Olivier vas always around if we needed any directions or advice and our lack of the french language was never a problem Olivierand the staff spoke english perfectly well.
Our flight home was not until evening and we were able to leave our suitcases with the owners which was a great help and before we left we washed and my wife got changed in a small bathroom that was on the roof-top terrace.If you, like me, are spending hours looking for a reasonably priced riad, which you can be sure is going to make your stay in Marrakech just perfect, then book at dar najat, close down the PC, and look forward to a great stay in a fantasically obscure city.

27.07.2010 We stayed at this riad for 3 nights. The room is quaint, clean and comfortable. The patios and the roof terrace are just lovely. The location is very convenient, it's really near place jamma l fnaa. Just walk for 5 minutes and you reach the riad. Though it's situated in the medina itself, it offers a quiet and private place to stay

The owners Olivier and the staff gladly help you with tips and transportation if you need to make day-trips to Ourikka or Essaouira. The service are sincere and genuine

Their home-cooked tajines and couscous here are superb!! One of the best in town.

It's worth staying here for the second time on return trips

This place just rocks!!! The bourique riad was a memorable as the city itself and even more so as Riad Dar Najat has fully embraced it's Northern African roots and is the only riad in Marrakech to do do!
The lighting, jacuzzi, trees and flowers on the roof terrace make it a struggle to leave in the morning to head out into the bustling city but what a joy to come back to. The great thing is that if you don't want to make the effort to find nightlife.. the ambiance of Riad Dar Najat means you don't feel like you are missing out.
The staff are great and owner Oliver is one of a kind.. dynamic, stylish and chilled.. just like his riad!

05.04.2010 Kleinschalig (7 kamers) Riad in hartje centrum. Zeer gastvriendelijke mensen die er alles aan doen om je verblijf daar zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Alles kan! Heerlijk (Afrikaans) ontbijt wat in de prijs inbegrepen is. En als je een keer niet de straat op wilt om te gaan eten, kan dat daar ook. Eten wat de pot schaft overigens, maar altijd lekker!

I’m not very used with reviews but this time..we had to write some few words as all in this romantic guest house have been more than helpful and kind with us!

Great atmosphere..fantastic to be in the jacuzzi on the roof terrace with a glass of wine..when getting hot!

All since the transfer from aerport until the end of the stay has just been perfect.

I have to say I was a little worried with this experience as I never stayed in any country of africa before this lovely trip.;but after one day of “ethnic choc..”I found all and Marrakech totally incredible..and safe as the location of the riad is just firty meters from the cousin of the king’s palace.

Art work amazing and the food was the real best we ever had in the all holidays.

For sure with out any hesitation,we’ll come back in dar najat for our next trip in Morocco.

27.11.2009 RIAD DAR Najat in Marrakech Here is a pearl set in the silver sea. This little world....exceptional. Oliver and his small team of staff are fantastic. given drinks and the warmest hospitality possible whilst bags were taken to the gorgeous room.

24.06.2010 I cannot recomend Riad Dar-Najat enough. I have wanted to visit Marrakesh all my life and at the age of 39 I finally lived my dream. I was warmly greeted by Oliver (who booked a taxi from the airport to bring to the Riad) -a Moroccon breakfast was waiting for us on the roof terrace. Once we unpacked -in our amazing rooms -just like Arabian Nights -totally luxurious -we were shown in the the main square by staff as we would no doubt have got lost without their help.
Oliver arranged day trips for us -visited a Berber market -camel riding -Ourika valley -Essaouira -all worth doing.
Staff at the riad could not do enough for us. One day i fancied a plate of chips (typical brit!!) so Siad went out and brought me fresh potatoes and made us chips!! The food in the riad was amazing -must try their cous cous. The girls washed and ironed my clothes for me and our rooms were cleaned every day.
The air con was great -must needed as it hit 50 degrees!

13.07.2009 Fantastique weekend chez Dar Najat, escapade hors du temps bien au dela de nos attentes et de maniere surprenante l'experience la plus marquante de notre sejour dans cette ville magique. Chaleur, gentillesse, disponibilite, dans ce lieu precieux et intime ou nous sommes sentis chez nous, des le premier instant. Rien n'est laisse au hasard du delicieux petit dejeuner sur la terrasse au diner autour de tajines qui tiennent la dragee haute aux excellents restaurant qui nous ont par ailleurs ete conseilles par une equipe a l'ecoute de vos moindres souhaits. Idealement situe, a la fois proche de tout et au calme, une large palette de services fournis avec le sourire et un incomparable sens de l'hospitalite par tout le staff qui est aux petits soins. On a l'impression de toujours les avoir connus et de quitter des amis lorsque vient le moment de partir. Une belle decouverte a partager largement. Tous les clients rencontres etaient au diapason!
