25.06.2009 Beautiful Hotel, very comfortable beds. Grounds were beautiful, mutiple pools of which one was a salt water pool, which is great if you color your hair (no worry about chlorine)
Great food, alittle expensive for the area but atleast it was good. The staff was extremely courtious. Would recommend it for a great getaway.

25.06.2009 Super deal we got from Skoosh. Best breakfast buffet I've ever saw. Ample rooms and beautiful setting. Away from crowded old Acapulco.

25.06.2009 I would certainly recommend the Acapulco Princess to anyone wishing to spend a weekend in relative style. This is probably our 10th stay in over 30 years. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they are well built, very large, immaculate, and with all the modern ammenities of a 5 star hotel. The terraces are wonderful and invite you to long for hours. The public areas and gardens are unmatched for their expansiveness and beauty; although the hotel was fully booked, you do not bump into people as there are several fine theme restaurants, bars and swimming pools. Gym and Spa are superb. Service was also quite good, including the reception (we were upgraded without any fuss), and concierge (we were kindly extended the check out to take advantage of a full day at the beach). Restaurants are somewhat pricey, yet the scenery and helpful service makes up for it.

25.06.2009 We will recommend it to families with young kids. There's plenty of space for running and swimming. Disappointed about the 4wheelers at the beach, that are dangerous specially for toddlers playing around.
Good value for our money, we received what we expected for our family. Very good service and food.

25.06.2009 It is a great hotel, great views, great landscape - although when we were there 3 of the 5 Restaurants in the hotel were under construction. And the 2 that were open where nothing to talk about. The restaurants are not great, I would look at going out, We did Dine at the Beach Club Restaurant it was nothing you couldn't get here, the dessert we ordered was brownie with coconut ice cream and they were out of coconut ice cream. Not the same. The rooms are fair we did have to change rooms 3 hours after checking in to the hotel, we found that the toilet had a severe leak and the room was smelling terrible - it took 2 hours to get a new room. The new room had a great view very clean. I would go back This is a nice hotel. The wait staff was great

25.06.2009 The hotel itself was really nice. The is staff quite friendly. The whole family enjoyed the various pools and the beach. The Kid's Club was a little depressing. Our kids used it for one hour. The food is good but very overpriced. They do not allow coolers in your room and most rooms do not have a refrigerator. This can be inconvenient with small children.

Not sure that we'll be going back to Acapulco, but I might try a different hotel next time, probably an all-inclusive.

25.06.2009 Let me first start out by saying the Fairmont met our expectations as usual, since I have been to this resort many times. The only problem was during one night of our stay, we ordered a bottle of wine in one of the restaurants. Unfortunately we were charged for a reserve bottle and not the less expensive bottle we ordered. The difference was $30.00 US dollars, and the situation was really not about the money. It was getting charged for something we did not buy. I wrote to the front office manager upon return home explaining the situation and was responded too by the front office manager with the classic “…we will look into it and thank you for bringing this to our attention.” Not at any time during this entire event did they offer to go the extra mile and offer a credit or something beyond just an apology

25.06.2009 We liked the Hotel and since we live in Mexico City it is only 4 hours away. It was a good value for the money and the Fairmont will meet all your expectations. Have been here over 5 times in the last year and a half and have had great service every time!
