My main complaint: lack of Security. I visited to attend a wedding (of the owner’s cousin, no less!) and my laptop was stolen out of my room. Since my room was farthest from the entrances (rooms closer to the entrance were untouched), and nothing else in the room was taken, the thieves must have known that my laptop was there, the room was empty, and they would not be seen. Naturally, management denies any liability. There was no security at all: no cameras, no guards, old door locks, and no control over who comes and goes. I asked the manager to post a reward - he never did. Since the maids confirmed that my laptop was in the room 1 hr after I went out, I asked the manager to share responsibility (I offered to split the value of the old computer -- not even the replacement cost) and now he ignores my emails. The hotel could have gotten security equipment cheap at Costco which would have saved me a lot of grief, time and expense. The rooms that are simply not safe.
